Christian Nwankwo is the and Head of Operations of Tropic Agro Prime Africa, where he oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of the company’s sourcing and export activities.

He is a graduate of the Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO), where he studied Petroleum Engineering. Rooted in a heritage of cocoa trading, Mr. Nwankwo hails from Bende Local Government Area, a cocoa-rich community in Abia State, Nigeria. Coming from a long lineage of cocoa brokers, he brings both generational knowledge and a forward-looking vision aimed at expanding beyond traditional brokerage practices to establish sustainable and globally competitive cocoa export operations.

His professional experience includes over two years managing his family’s cocoa enterprise, where he successfully handled the sourcing, procurement, and delivery of more than 500 tons of cocoa beans to over 10 institutions and exporters through trusted logistics channels.

Mr. Nwankwo is highly skilled in negotiation, networking, and supply chain management. His commitment is to bridge the gap between local cocoa producers and the international market, ensuring value creation across the supply chain while positioning Nigeria’s cocoa industry for greater global relevance.
